There are several CT (Conspiracy Theory) sites around on the web that seem to think some ancient aliens came among us and continue to dominate us today… Oh, and these aliens are lizards!!
David Icke is one of the major proponents of these theory, claiming to have actually seen these beings morph into their human form!!
Now, it is true that the ancient alien theories have been around far longer than Erich von Daniken gave us a glimpse of ancient astronauts but not everyone takes the lizard angle.
Some, like Zechariah Sitchin, merely think some aliens came down and actually created Man from their own loins – the Cro Magnon, perhaps – and mated these “sons of gods” with the “daughters of men”, the neanderthals, I suppose.
And the resulting cross-breed is homo sapiens… us.
As bizarre as that scenario may sound (even without the excursion into la-la lizardland) it does have some interesting support. One, obviously, is the Holy Bible which talks about exactly such a thing occurring. And you thought having a few assorted apes in our family tree was bad? (Or at least a little weird!)
And a further parallel is drawn in that the supposed brother of the megalomaniacal alien overlord felt some compassion for these minions on the earth and brought them fire and other neat tools and learning.
Since the “righteous” followers of the alien “god” shunned such activity, they simply labeled that errant brother “Lucifer”, the bringer of light.
You can see where I am going with this version of the tale… or maybe not.
So, the Church has embraced the teachings of the “god” brother and teach us to hate the followers of the benevolent brother, the “Lucifer”.
Of course, we now are taught to fear a group called the illuminati, the bringers of light.
Funny, I don’t see what they are bringing to the table very enlightening. In fact, they have to work in the dark, rather than the light.
So, Lucifer and his minions are opponents of the enlightened ones, the illuminati!
Ain’t some form of “reality” a kick in the pants? Hoo-hah!
What won’t they think of next?
